Larnaca, Kamares aqueduct

This aqueduct is also known as the Bekir Pasha Aqueduct. Located outside the city, near the old road to Limassol, was built starting in 1747. It is described it as the most prominent water supply built in Cyprus.

Nicosia, Ledra Street

Major shopping thoroughfare, name comes from the ancient city-kingdom of Ledra, established in 1050 BC, located in the center of the island where the capital city is today.

Larnaca Salt Lake is a complex network of four salt lakes of different sizes to the west of the city of Larnaca. The largest is lake Aliki, followed by lake Orphani, lake Soros and lake Spiro. They form the second largest Salt Lake in Cyprus after the Limassol Salt Lake.
